I ran for office to help make Ohio a great place to work, raise a family, and for children to grow into happy, healthy, and productive members of society. I am committed to increasing economic development opportunities and good-paying jobs for working families. I support a livable minimum wage as well as equal pay for equal work, regardless of gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, ability status, or gender identity. I also recognize the strength in diversity and support community members and families from diverse backgrounds with dignity and respect. Additionally, my first bill, the bipartisan Adoption Modernization Act, modernizes Ohio's adoption process and prioritizes the best interest of the child by putting people over burdensome processes that limit opportunities for children and families. It is my firm belief that all children deserve the opportunity to succeed and be supported in loving homes.
